A classroom project. Draped from a 2.5 mts. of fabric without cutting it. The silhouette is inspired from the Victorian fashion. The cocktail dress has been fabricated from emerald green cotton silk and black textured tulle.

 
A halter- backless wedding gown constructed using embroidered silk, chiffon and textured cotton for lining under chiffon.
 

 
The dream wedding gown is constructed using ivory Italian crepe silk and glass tissue for the veil. The roses used on the back detail and the wreath have been hand-made using Italian crepe silk and beige and copper tissue fabrics.

 
A re-construction of a French Mantua worn during the Victorian Era (1837 - 1901). The work is an outcome of History of Costume aimed to study the costumes and clothings of different periods in detail. The mantua is made from olive green jacquard silk, golden-beige satin, black tulle and lace.

NID trained artisans specialising in leather craft. These artisans belonged to villages of Rajasthan that fall under Rural Non-Farm Developmental Agency (RUDA). The aim of the workshop was to provide a design training and intervention to these artisans and to develop products over a period of 12 days.
